Lifestyle Spotlight: Forest Noir Photography

My favorite still life photographer, Forest Noir Photography, reached out to me some months ago to do a collaboration for her new headbands based on one of my favorite photographs of hers, Flowers from the Underworld. It’s literal wearable art! Persephone is my patron goddess, and I love anything involving her and her story with/in Hades. In the time since, we’ve become friends and I adore her as a person as well!

Of course I said yes, as I love to support small businesses, especially female owned ones and I’m also very much in love with her photography. Her photography is dark, decadent, and is perfect for the more elegant and refined goth. It really does look like still life paintings and they are just gorgeous. The prints are museum-quality Giclée fine art prints, so you will get a very detailed and beautiful reproduction of her photographs.  Because of this, I’ve found myself buying quite a few of her prints to put up in my home. You can find care and framing details on each print’s page.

The headband will be available on Friday at the Darksome Art & Craft Market and later via her site, but you can buy her prints and other offerings now!
