I have a lot to say about this dress, mostly not great. While I LOVE the color of this dress (it’s a hunter green) and the potential it has, it was cut very poorly for a plus size body. The underbust waistline was made for someone with small breasts so of course, it hit me in the middle of mine and I had no choice but to wear a belt to give my body some shape and for it to not look as weird. The sleeves needed at least another inch or two added to the circumference as they are tight and as my right arm is bigger, it took me a few tries of putting on that sleeve to get the chest to sit correctly. The shoulder seams aren’t even on my shoulders. This is a 4XL and fits like a US size 18 (In most brands that size properly a 4Xl is a size 24. I’m usually a 3XL and a US 22, so that should speak volumes). I so loved this dress when I saw it on the site, but again, I was severely disappointed with Killstar’s poorly adjusted plus size items. I will probably only purchase oversized sweaters and stretch knit tops from them from this point forward as everything else is just too small, and not sized up correctly for a proper plus size fit. It’s really the only brand I have a problem with fit wise. I hope they listen to feedback about this and fix the sizing and fit in the future with proper plus models.
